Summer Volunteer Opportunity!
The Hillsborough Department of Special Services is looking for student volunteers for our Extended School Year (ESY) program. Students must be entering 10th, 11th, or 12th Grade by September 2026. The district’s ESY program is for students in our self-contained classes, preschool through high school, who experience significant regression of skills during prolonged breaks from school.
The ESY program runs from July 1st through July 31st, 2026. The program will run at Triangle Elementary School and Hillsborough Middle School from 8:45 AM-12:30 PM.
New and returning volunteers should print the linked volunteer application form and drop it off at the High School CST office as well as complete this Google Form by April 24, 2026. No applications will be accepted after this date.
Interviews for prospective new volunteers will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 beginning at 2:00 PM in the Hillsborough High School Child Study Team office. You will be contacted with your scheduled time slot.
There will be an orientation at Hillsborough High School in Room 302 for all volunteers on Monday, June 22, 2026 from 1:00-2:00 PM. All volunteer assignments will be given out at that time.

The Girls HHS Flag Football Team played their first game and beat Ridge 44-8!!! Keira Collins threw for 6 touchdowns and passed for 102 yards. Steph Vamos recorded 3 touchdowns, Syd Vamos scored twice and Kelly Collins also scored. Amazing job! Go Raiders!
The HHS Debate team attended the London Youth Model United Nations and eight members won individual awards. Congratulations to Aryan Arora, Nirav Banerjee, Sragvi Basireddy, Nupur Bhavsar, Eric Fan, Annika Lambert-Smith, Robert Lombardo, and Aditi Polamuri. The team also received the Best Small Delegation for their efforts. Amazing job! Go Raiders!

Congratulations to Daniel Tobia for breaking his own school record again in the 55 meters with a time of 6.30, Peyton Wallace & Debbie Ozokpor for placing 7th & 8th in the Shot Put, to Stella Martinez, Luciana Damiano, Emma Burd and Emma Stibitz for placing 5th in the 4x4 & Emma Stibitz for placing 5th in the Long Jump! Congratulations to our singers in Treble Chorale, Mixed Chorale and Legacy Choir for being one of five schools nationwide invited to a three-day rehearsal intensive in New York City with esteemed conductor, Dr. John Wilson. On Saturday, March 7th HHS Project Graduation will be holding a clothing drive from 9AM - Noon at Hillsborough Elementary School! Items accepted: clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, stuffed animals, towels, sheets, bikes, strollers, and small toys!

At the February 10th Township Committee meeting, Mayor Catherine Payne presented members of the Hillsborough High School Black Student Union with a proclamation recognizing February as Black History Month.
The Black Student Union aims to educate students and the community on Black history, culture, and heritage.
During Black History Month, we celebrate the many achievements and vast contributions of African Americans to the economic, spiritual, political, and cultural development of both our nation and our community. Hillsborough Township is proud to honor this history and the lasting impact of African Americans in our local area.

Students from the HHS Legacy Show Choir traveled to Massachusetts to compete in the Shepherd Hill Show Choir Festival.
